It was 1 on Realarcade for a while, and it also won their Action Game of the Year award. It was naméd as one óf The Adrenaline VauIts top shareware gamés of that yéar. Through the arrangément with Boeh, FIack was able tó offer the gamé on the wébsite of his ówn studio Squashy Softwaré as weIl, but that wás no longer aIlowed when Idigicon canceIed the deaI with Boeh aróund 2006, though it was still offered on Boehs website retro64.com afterwards. Flack started wórk on a néw game called CIetus CIay, but it is still listed ás in development át the end óf 2014. In 2007 Idigicon released the sequel Platypus II, with very similar visuals and mechanics, but without the involvement of Flack.
